> Let’s straighten things out!

 Our Saturday sessions have been very popular thus far, and of course it’s always a pleasure to see our customers at the showroom!

However it would appear there is some confusion as to what exactly these sessions are! So hopefully this quick news letter will answer the common questions we’ve been receiving about the Saturday sessions!

 

Saturday Sessions were brought about from a desire to have a specific focus at the weekends, here at Settle.

For those wishing to join us, they’re a chance to speak to our team in a little more detail, and perhaps even one-to-one about the given subject on the day!

 

But the confusion seems to have arisen over the formality of the situation, so, here’s a list of commonly asked questions and answers regarding the Saturday sessions…

“Do I need to book a place?”

No! It’s simply a different way for us to do our Saturdays! This is NOT an appointment based event, just turn up and ask questions! Take part, enjoy a chat and maybe a brew!

“Can you ‘Live Stream’ them over Twitch/YouTube/Zoom?”

With the nature of the sessions being what they are, streaming would not be possible as there is no set itinerary for the discussions, it depends on what the individuals at the time are interested in learning about or discussing.

“I can’t make it this weekend, Can you email me a PDF?”

The information discussed on our weekends is very much customer-focused and based on the individual’s needs within the given subject of the weekend. For example, someone may have a specific question about a Power Cab, and another may have questions about track voltage for example. So it’s not the sort of thing we can ‘email out’ regrettably. BUT our website does have dozens of FREE PDF files you can download and read on many DCC and model railway related subjects

“Have these replaced your annual open day / show?”

All of our planned events, shows and open days will continue as normal. There is nothing happening at these weekend ‘get togethers’ that any of our show-goers would be missing out on. You can keep up to date with any shows over on the DCCconcepts forum our in our newsletters!

“I have questions relating to a specific topic, can I still ask?”

YES! Of course! We are very much still here to help our customers to the very best of our ability, be that over the phone, via email or indeed in person at the showroom!
