> The DCCconcepts ‘Versa-Clamps’ Are Here!

 

Ever wished you were born with an extra set of hands? So do we! So we developed these handy clamps to help with those extra-tricky modelling challenges that crop up from time to time! From holding wires when soldering, to holding parts together on a model while glue sets, there’s dozens of uses for these little wonders!

 

Our versa-clamps can be used on their own, or with the included slip-on jaw tips which allow you to vary the pressure without damaging sensitive surfaces or wire casing which so many other clamps with SHARP jagged teeth in the jaws of the clamp can do!

 

As you can see, adding one or both jaw tips to the clamps will allow you to easily vary the clamping force on the clamps, without causing damage to surfaces! Simply open the clamps and slide the jaw tips over the end!

You could even use them for holding wires or tricky-to place, awkward or 

 

fiddly parts of a model before gluing into place!

DCCconcepts Versa-Clamps are made from long-life stainless steel, and our reversible “Slip-on clamp tips” are a firm but tough plastic. The slip-on tips are made to be reversible, with both a smooth and toothed side so you can change them easily depending on what you are doing.

  •  The Smooth sides are great for clamping flat surfaces such as card or plastic sheet, and their grip angle is set at just over 2mm. (Add packing to even out the grip if you are using thinner material).

  •  The “toothed” sides have been created to hold irregular items like rail… or round things like tubing – Of course you can change only ONE tip over to securely hold a round tube to a flat surface!

 

Versa-Clamp really will help you make many common but fiddly modelling tasks easier to do… and as modellers, we know all too well that some jobs also need LOTS of clamps, so we have put lots in each pack to make sure you have enough!
